Felicity Young

Felicity has had a full time career in nursing and then a full time occupation as a mother. At long last she has been able to devote her time to her other great interest. That is to appreciate nature's beauty and to depict it in watercolour paint.

Felicity is largely self-taught and is passionate about flowers of the garden or hedgerow. She paints from life and her love of flowers is vividly shown in her paintings. Felicity also has some experience in calligraphy and occasionally will use this in her work. She openly admits that she has been influenced by Ann Blockley, Shirley Trevena, and Adeline Fletcher. We eagerly await her first exhibition, which can only be a short time away.
